Help with the app, and how to reach a human.
LensCal tries the most accurate source available before it estimates anything. If it sees a barcode it looks the product up; if it sees a Nutrition Facts panel it reads the printed numbers. Both happen on your iPhone. Only when there is nothing to read does it fall back to recognising the food, and with LensCal Premium that recognition breaks the plate into separate foods.
Portion size is the largest source of error in any photo-based estimate. Tap the grams for any item on the result screen and correct them — the total recalculates as you type. If a whole item is wrong, remove it with the ✕. Photos that are dark or blurry make estimates worse; LensCal will tell you when that happens.
Only for the precision AI analysis, which is a paid feature, and only after you explicitly agree the first time. Barcode reading, nutrition-label reading and the free food recognition all run on the device. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Open the paywall (Settings → LensCal Premium) and tap Restore Purchases. You will be asked to authenticate with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
On your iPhone. There is no account and no server copy. That also means we cannot recover your history if you delete the app — an iPhone backup is what protects it.
Settings → Clear history removes logged meals. Settings → Delete account removes your profile, your meals, your saved foods and your water history. Deleting the app removes what is left.
